2018 The Woodlands Marathon

2017 The Woodlands 10 for Texas

Hey there everybody!  I hope that you're doing well after the recent Hurricane activity. 

Please be advised that 14th of October is the 10 for Texas event in The Woodlands.  We are asked to help with this event.  This is a very nice event for new and experienced hands, as it's just a 10 mile run, out and back, and is typically done with by noon at the latest.  Please visit http://www.woodlands-event-comms.info/10-for-texas for more information, and to register to help (if you're available).

2017's spring months are busy for us in The Woodlands, with an event that we're help with each month.

4th of March - The Woodlands Marathon
22nd of April - The Memorial Hermann Ironman
6th of May - The CB&I Triathlon

They all occur on Saturdays.

2017 Dec 15 Club Meeting

The last club meeting of 2017 will be held December 15th at the central fire station, at 7pm (as usual).

This month, it will be a 'Q & A' session, providing a good opportunity for those with questions to incite some friendly discussion.

If you have something to share, bring it along!

2017 Houston Marathon

For those that are interested, the Houston Marathon (14th & 15th of January 2017) is coming up quickly.  It is an event with a huge number of competitors and even more spectators.  This is an event that typically needs more than 100 radio operators to get all the jobs done properly.  Assignments range from stationary, to shadowing, to SAG and BUS communicator.  If this is of interest, head over to http://www.hmhams.org for more information, and to register to help.

2016 ARRL Field Day

We'll be at The Egg and I (Research Forest) from around 9:30am.

I expect we'll be at Northshore Park (Pavilion B) from around 10:30am.

You're welcome to bring along your own equipment if you would like.

We have the pavilion reserved until around 7pm, but, we may pack it in earlier than that.  So, if you want to stop by, don't wait until the last minute!

2015 The Woodlands '10 for Texas' Oct 10th

The 10th running of the 10 for Texas in The Woodlands will take place on the 10th of October (10th month).

So, this is a 10/10/10 event!
